King in Enterprise and Creativity

After interviewing Natalie King, there is one comment she made that I continue to call upon.

This phrase comes to me when I feel overwhelmed, and I don’t know where to start. I interviewed Natalie on Skype, our connection wasn’t great that day. Despite unreliable connection this – her voice conveyed her confidence and commitment to her work.

“I am not daunted by anything.”

Natalie King is a curator and visionary arts leader whom I have admired since first meeting almost a decade ago while working for an experimental arts festival in Melbourne. She has led many incredible artistic programs across Australia, Asia-Pacific and Europe. Many Australians are aware of her work as a curator of Tracey Moffatt for the Australian Pavilion and the 57th International Art Exhibition, Venice Biennale 2017.
