NATALIE KING

CURATOR

With more than 20 years’ experience in international contemporary art, King has unrivalled expertise when it comes to the cultural sector. As curator of the Australian Pavilion at the 2017 Venice Biennale, King oversaw the first solo exhibition there by an Indigenous Australian artist with Tracey Moffatt: My Horizon, and is currently enterprise professor at the Victorian College of the Arts at The University of Melbourne. She works tirelessly to support Australian artists and promote the value of creativity and the visual arts in our country. “I’m inspired by artists as they are guardians of the imagination and help us to dream the world awake,” she says. — GS
