Jessica Morgan: Burning Down the House

Jessica Morgan, Daskalopoulos Curator of International Art at Tate Modern, made a lightning visit to Sydney on the occasion of the Kaldor Public Art Projects restaging of Tino Sehgal’s This is so contemporary. In 2012, Morgan curated These Associations, Sehgal’s assembly of participants and choreographed movements in the Turbine Hall at Tate Modern. She is curating the 2014 Gwangju Biennale under the rubric ‘Burning Down the House’. Morgan was interviewed by Natalie King at Kaldor Public Art Projects to discuss curatorial imaginings, the lure of collections and the complexities and contestations within Korea.
