13th Dong Gang International Photo Festival Dong Gang Museum of Photography, Korea
18 July – 21 September 2014
Susan Sontag’s prophetic account of the insatiability of photography anticipates the ubiquitous quality of photography in the 21st century. Episodes: Australian Photography Now uncovers “an anthology of images”: an imaginary world of fictional and real places from the streets of Adelaide to a plantation in Queensland, a laneway in Hong Kong and a salt lake in the Mallee region of rural Victoria. Twelve Australian photographers flex their cameras on the notion of psychological, soap opera and serial episodes.
